Medical Aesthetician

Oak and Glow Medspa is seeking a results-driven Licensed Esthetician to join our growing medical aesthetics team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about skincare who also understands how to build client relationships, recommend treatment plans, and contribute to practice growth through service and product sales.

The Esthetician will provide professional skincare treatments while educating clients on advanced aesthetic services, medical-grade skincare products, and ongoing treatment plans. Success in this role requires strong consultation skills, client retention, and the ability to recommend appropriate services that help clients achieve their aesthetic goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Consultations & Treatment Planning

• Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and assessments
• Recommend customized skincare treatment plans aligned with client goals
• Identify opportunities to enhance results through additional treatments or products
• Collaborate with medical providers to support injectable or advanced treatment plans

Skincare Treatments

Perform professional services including:

• Customized medical-grade facials
• Chemical peels (within scope of practice)
• Dermaplaning
• Acne treatments
• Post-procedure skincare
• Other approved aesthetic treatments

Ensure treatments are delivered safely while maintaining exceptional patient experience.

The Esthetician plays an important role in the growth of the practice by:

• Recommending ongoing treatment plans
• Promoting complementary services offered by the practice
• Supporting retail skincare sales
• Encouraging pre-booking for future treatments
• Participating in promotional campaigns and events

Retail Skincare Sales

• Educate clients on medical-grade skincare products
• Recommend customized home-care regimens
• Support practice retail initiatives and promotions
• Maintain knowledge of product lines offered by the practice

Client Experience

• Deliver a welcoming and personalized treatment experience
• Build strong relationships that encourage long-term loyalty
• Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms
• Follow all sanitation and safety protocols

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with nurse injectors and medical providers
• Support the practice’s treatment philosophy and protocols

Marketing & Practice Growth

• Participate in med spa events and patient education initiatives
• Contribute to social media and promotional content when appropriate
• Help promote new treatments and skincare offerings

Qualifications

Required:

• Active North Carolina Esthetician License
• Experience performing professional skincare treatments
• Strong client consultation skills
• Ability to educate clients on treatment plans and skincare products
• Commitment to safety and sanitation standards

Preferred:

• Experience working in a medical spa or dermatology practice
• Knowledge of medical-grade skincare brands
• Experience with dermaplaning, peels, and acne treatments
• Retail sales experience

Pay: $24.58 - $40.00 per hour
