Job Summary
At Roggy Eye Clinic, we provide dynamic, innovative, and comprehensive eye care with a strong focus on advanced dry eye therapies and ocular aesthetics. Our boutique, patient-centered practice specializes in non-surgical, technology-driven treatments designed to improve both ocular health and appearance.

We are proud to be the first clinic in Iowa to offer Lumenis TriLift to lift, tone, and rejuvenate skin without surgery or downtime (Dynamic Muscle Stimulation, Radio Frequency, and trFX Microneedling) as an advanced treatment for both dry eye disease and aesthetic enhancement. Additional technologies include Lumenis Intense Pulse Light (IPL), Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT), and MIBO Thermoflo, along with other specialized ocular procedures that continue to evolve as new innovations are introduced. These advanced therapies allow us to deliver effective relief for patients suffering from dry eye symptoms and those seeking non-surgical lid, eye and facial rejuvenation.

We are seeking a Medical Aesthetician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is clinically minded, detail-oriented, and motivated to take ownership of both patient care and schedule efficiency. Prior experience with advanced modalities is preferred but not required. Comprehensive training is provided for all specialized ocular procedures and equipment. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment, delivering cutting-edge therapies.

Key Responsibilities

(Training provided for all specialized equipment and treatments)

Clinical Treatment & Patient Care

  • Perform Intense Pulse Light (IPL) therapy
  • Deliver Dynamic Muscle Stimulation (DMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) treatments
  • Perform triFX Microneedling treatments
  • Conduct Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT)
  • Administer MIBO Thermoflo treatments
  • Perform additional ocular and periocular procedures as indicated
  • Educate patients on ocular conditions and how treatments support clinical outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatments and patient progress

Schedule Management & Patient Continuity

  • Maintain ownership of the aesthetic treatment schedule, including schedule preparation and daily readiness
  • Proactively monitor attendance, cancellations, and no-shows
  • Track patients who miss appointments or fail to schedule recommended treatments
  • Ensure timely patient outreach for recalls, follow-ups, and rescheduling
  • Collaborate with front desk staff to optimize schedule utilization and continuity of care

Clinical Operations

  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and sanitized according to clinic protocols
  • Assist with patient intake, consultations, and follow-up care as needed
  • Uphold clinic standards for professionalism, efficiency, and patient experience

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Aesthetician (required)
  • Prior experience in aesthetics (medical setting preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
  • Experience working around the eye is a plus (training provided)
