Role and Responsibilities:

Licensed Esthetician through the Louisiana Board of Cosmetology

2-3 years of experience in medical aesthetics practice, preferably in a plastic surgery or dermatology setting.

Additional training or certifications in medical aesthetics (such as laser treatments, injectables, or advanced skin care) is preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Adhere to strict sanitation protocols, including sterilizing equipment and disinfecting treatment areas to prevent infection. Also required to safely handle sharp objects, such as needles and scalpels, ensuring proper disposal and minimizing the risk of injury or contamination.

Working with chemical products like acids, exfoliants, and pre-treatment solutions that may cause skin irritation or sensitivity, requiring the use of gloves, masks, and other PPE.

Position requires standing or sitting for long periods of time or moving between treatment rooms.

Manual dexterity to perform various skin treatments that may require the use blades/needles or conducting laser treatments.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs

Physical demands include but are not limited to standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, manual dexterity, stooping, kneeling, crouching, vision acuity, talking and hearing.
