Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures
- Administer basic life support in emergency situations
- Perform basic coding and billing tasks

-Check the insurance verification of eligibility
- Provide patient education on medical conditions and treatments
- Assist with patient care, including dressing wounds and changing bandages
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

Medical Assistant Requirements:
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Ability to accurately take and record vital signs
- Medical assistant experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
- Basic life support certification required
- Knowledge of coding and billing practices is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
