We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional looking to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is to assist the Nurse Practitioner/providers with patient and client visits
• Deliver the highest level of patient care and satisfaction
• Prepare and breakdown treatment rooms before and after appointment
• Prepares patient in treatment room. Keeps rooms clean and stocked. Ordering of supplies
• Schedule initial and follow-up appointments
• Answer phones and return phone calls
• Patient Calls and Follow-ups
• Performing miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Understand and observe legal concepts (e.g. HIPAA, confidentiality).

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certificate
• Medical assistant experience with viable references
• Interest in Aesthetics
• High School graduate or equivalent
• Integrity, honesty
• Punctuality
• Strong work ethic
• Cheerful, people skills even with difficult patients
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Understanding of safety precautions and infection control procedures

Skills/Abilities:

• Proper grammar and spelling abilities
• Good communication skills
• Exhibit excellent listening skills.
• Positive interpersonal skills and sensitivity
• Able to use related medical equipment, instruments, and computers
• Previous experience preferred, but we will train the right person

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
