Medical Assistant

Family Practice Associates is an independent family medicine practice located on the campus of St Francis Medical Center. We have an immediate opening for a full time Medical Assistant with previous experience in family medicine office to work one on one with one of our providers.

You will be the primary contact for your provider. It is important to have previous experience with the following skills:

• Triaging patients in the office and by phone or portal
• Visits will include collecting vitals, updating medication lists and review of past history
• Performing EKGs, administering injections and phlebotomy
• Follow up after the visit to include: completion of provider orders, refills and referrals
• EMR experience for the documentation of all activities/interventions with the patient
