Medical Assistant Full-Time — Clarkstown Medical Associates

Rate: $23.00 per hour, Negotiable

Highland Medical, a division of Montefiore Nyack Hospital, recently certified nationally as a "Great Place to Work." We have an opportunity for a full-time Medical Assistant at Clarkstown Medical Associates which is located in New City.

The Medical Assistant works with other clinical team members to support the Physician, providing excellent patient care to our patients. The Medical Assistant rooms the patients in preparation to see the Physician and will perform various Medical Assistant duties such as taking vitals and Phlebotomy. The Medical Assistant will also update patient information in the electronic medical records system.

Essential Job Qualifications:

Education: A High School graduate. A Medical Assistant certification from an accredited school program preferred.

Experience: Work experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant in a medical office setting preferred

Certifications/Licenses: A BLS certification through American Heart Association required.

Other: Experience using an electronic medical records system; EPIC preferred. Phlebotomy experience a plus but will train.
