Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
• Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems by accurately documenting patient information, ICD coding for diagnoses, and updating medical records
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, including specimen collection and processing for diagnostic tests
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and assisting with insurance or administrative paperwork
• Bi-lingual preferred

Experience

• Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding ensures accurate documentation
• Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration techniques
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as CPR or ACLS are beneficial

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
