Medical Assistant

Plainwell Urgent Care is looking for energetic staff to help us run the clinic and grow with the company. We are located in Plainwell, MI and are excited to serve the community in the area. If you have a passion for caring for people, apply to be considered.

Job Requirements:

Must have a medical assistant certificate or diploma
Must have BLS or CPR certificate
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to work six to 13-hour shifts
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to be for emergency coverage
Must be able to work up to five days a week

Job Duties:

Patient registration/EMR
Insurance verification
Familiar with simple computer tasks and Microsoft
Vitals
Capable of drawing blood
Collecting urine specimens and preparing for LAB send-outs
In-office testing including FLU, strep, and pregnancy testing.
EKG
Injections/Immunizations-Prepare for suturing-Sterilization, etc

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
