Medical Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in various medical settings.

Duties:

-Must be experienced in drawing blood and starting/inserting IV therapy

- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments
- Assist with patient education and communication

Qualifications:

- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of medical systems
- Experience in outpatient services preferably Urgent care
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent patient service

- Basic computer skills

-Warm and kind personality that will treat patients with care

Optional:

- Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Polish, Arabic, etc)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
