Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a clinical setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic and internal medicine. Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations.
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and explaining procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Support the healthcare team in managing patient flow within the clinic.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and development related to clinic operations and patient care.

Skills

• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly with federal workmans' compensation.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs accurately.
• Knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus but not necessary.
• Compassionate demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
