Our work environment includes:
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Administer injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting healthcare providers, performing basic laboratory tests, administering medications, and managing patient records.
