Medical Assistant

Join our team as a Medical Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. At our beautiful med spa, you will support our healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth and efficient patient experiences. You will be at the forefront of patient interaction, providing compassionate service while maintaining high standards of medical support. MA experience and phlebotomy certification preferred.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake and updating electronic health records (EHR systems)
• Measure and record vital signs with precision
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
• Support clinical procedures
• Manage medical documentation and prescription submission
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating smooth clinic operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role
• Certified phlebotomist
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage complex prescription management database
• Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient management
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
• Ability to perform vital signs collection accurately and efficiently
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence and teamwork
