Medical Assistant

```Duties```
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care and medical services
- Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the medical facility
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine dipsticks and glucose monitoring
- Assist with patient education and provide information on medications and procedures
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the facility

```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assistant program preferred
- Previous experience working as a medical assistant is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Proficiency in performing basic clinical procedures, including taking vital signs and collecting specimens
- Ability to administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
