We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role will support or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. Pre-Certification for medication, pharmacy calls, concerns of medication. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient service, possess strong medical knowledge, and thrive in fast-paced outpatient settings. Duties

• Assist with patient intake by collecting comprehensive medical histories and documenting vital signs accurately.
• Prepare medical records and upload prior medication profiles in EHR
• Handle all pre-certifications for Medication via the WC Medical Portal
• Manage electronic health records (EHR systems) efficiently, including documentation .
• Maintain clinical supplies and ensure all equipment is sterile and ready for use in surgical or emergency procedures.

Experience

• Hands-on experience in urgent care or emergency medicine settings enhances your ability to respond swiftly to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support is essential for efficient workflow management.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication protocols is required to deliver accurate patient care.
• Prior pre-certification knowledge

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
