Medical Assistant – Functional Medicine Clinic

Location: Laguna Hills, CA
Schedule: Part-time (2 days per week – Wednesdays & Thursdays)
Compensation: $20/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a genuine passion for holistic and integrative healthcare. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with patients in a calm, supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and process lab specimens.
• Take and record patient vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, weight, etc.).
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records (EMR documentation).
• Support the provider with patient flow and office organization.
• Provide patients with instructions for lab tests, supplements, and protocols.
• Assist with general office tasks (answering phones, scheduling, patient intake).

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Must be skilled in phlebotomy (blood draws required).
• Previous experience in a clinic, family practice, or functional/holistic medicine setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional.
• Bilingual (English/Farsi or English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
