Medical Assistant (Certified) – Fast-Paced Family & Integrative Clinic

Woodlands Medical is an integrative medical practice specializing in Family Health and Physical Medicine. Our clinics are busy, efficient, and patient-focused, and we are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant who can step into a fast-paced environment with confidence and professionalism.

This role is ideal for an MA who enjoys staying busy, working alongside a strong Nurse Practitioner, and taking pride in excellent patient care. If you are reliable, teachable, and ready to work, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take and record vital signs, weight, and patient history
• Prepare patients for exams and assist the provider during visits
• Perform blood draws and prepare specimens for lab processing
• Administer injections
• Set up and administer EKGs
• Maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and prepare medical supplies
• Accurately document patient information, exams, and test results in the EMR
• Respond to and appropriately route patient phone calls related to treatment
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and follow all safety protocols
• Support clinic flow by flexibly assisting where needed

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Certification (required)
• Previous Primary Care experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn multiple duties and adapt as needed
• Strong time management and punctuality

eClinicalWorks EMR experience preferred but not required.

Skills & Abilities We Value:
