Clinical Duties:

• Perform blood draws (phlebotomy) safely and accurately
• Prepare patients for examinations, including obtaining vital signs and medical history
• Ensure all patient information, labs, and documentation are ready for the provider prior to appointments
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures as needed
• Monitor and document patient blood pressure readings and report abnormalities
• Process Prior Authorizations in timely manner

Medication Management:

• Process medication refill requests in a timely and accurate manner
• Verify patient information and pharmacy details before submitting refill requests
• Communicate with providers regarding refill approvals and patient needs

Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM):

• Enroll eligible patients into Remote Patient Monitoring programs
• Educate patients on proper use of monitoring devices (e.g., blood pressure cuffs)
• Track and review incoming patient data, especially blood pressure readings
• Notify providers of abnormal readings or concerning trends
• Maintain accurate documentation of RPM activities and patient communication

Administrative Support:

• Prepare and organize patient charts prior to appointments
• Ensure all required documentation is complete and up to date
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding follow-ups, instructions, and care plans

Pay: $14.00 - $21.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Preferred)
