*MUST HAVE MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFICATE*

*MUST HAVE AT LEAST TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A MEDICAL ASSISTANT*

EMA (Mod Med) EMR knowledge is a plus.

• provide high-quality customer service to our patients in person and on the phone
• ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods
• maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day (anticipating and strategizing)
• obtain vitals and necessary medical information (recording patient data in the electronic medical record)
• prepare the patient for surgery pre and postoperatively; including patient education, obtaining consents, and prepping the surgical site (shaving, hair lubricant, gown, drape, exam light, etc.)
• meticulous review of charts and diligent documentation while in the room
• assist the physician with procedures, surgeries, and skin examinations
• wound care, bandaging, suture removals
• set up, clean, stock, and maintain exam rooms and ORs
• prepare/sterilize instruments

6:15 am Monday-Thursday, 4 10's. Rotating Friday On-Call. No weekends or holidays.

Dermatology experience is a plus.
