We are looking to add a Medical Assistant to our Baptist Primary Care; Reedy Branch office located half a mile west of I-295 at the corner of Reedy Branch and Baymeadows in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity. Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

The experienced candidate should be able to room patients, triage patient calls, and periodically cross cover Check-Out and/or other MAs.

Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Room patients
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules appts. and cross train
• Triage patient calls

Experience Requirements:

• 2 years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office
• Bilingual is a Bonus

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
