Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including gathering medical histories, recording vital signs, and documenting symptoms accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process.
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures following safety protocols and quality standards to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Support aesthetic treatments by preparing equipment, assisting during procedures, and providing post-treatment care instructions.
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient information, test results, and procedural details clearly and promptly.
- Monitor patient physiology during procedures, recognizing signs that require immediate attention or intervention.
- Support medical administrative tasks such as ICD coding, appointment scheduling, medication administration, and insurance documentation to streamline clinic operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics with a focus on patient service excellence.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and ICD coding to accurately support clinical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with X-ray imaging techniques and safety protocols; aesthetic treatment support is a plus.
- Familiarity with EHR systems for efficient charting and data management.
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement, medication administration support, intake procedures, and basic life support (BLS).

Key Responsibilities Medical Assistant Duties (Primary Role)
- Patient intake, vitals, and room preparation
- Blood draws and specimen handling
- Assist physician during exams and procedures
- Maintain EMR documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinic flow
Imaging & Device Support (Preferred Skills)
- Operate Quantum Medical Imaging X-ray system (if certified/trained)
- Assist with Ignite/FaceTite or similar device treatments
- Apply numbing cream and prepare patients for procedures
- Provide patient education and support during consultations
Practice Support & Growth
- Work closely with physician to support expanding services
- Maintain professional and patient-focused environment
- Support flexible clinic operations in a growing practice
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
