Medical Assistant/Receptionist

Our General/Family medical practice is seeking an experienced (3+ years) Medical Assistant/Receptionist. Our well-organized practice offers an excellent working environment with amazing providers and staff. We are ready for immediate hire.

Mon- Friday 8:30am to 2:30 pm

AND

Every other Saturday 8:30am to 2:00pm

MA Duties:

* Escort patients to the exam room

* Perform vitals and start note for provider

* Excellent at venipuncture

* Perform EKG, Spirometry, Urinalysis

*Prepare blood for lab pick-up

*Comfortable with EMR and heavy computer use

Reception Duties:

• Check-in / Check-out Patients
• Schedule Appointments
• Answer inbound phone calls
• Collect payments (via cash/check and credit cards)
• Call patients for appointment reminders
• Balance cash drawer, close credit card machine
• Check patient insurance eligibility

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
