Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a diverse skill set in various medical areas. They will be a quick learner and must be able to keep track of tasks and prioritize them accordingly. Being able to stay organized and manage your time efficiently is essential for excelling in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Assist providers with surgeries and procedures
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Handle patient scheduling and coordination of care
- Provide patient education on treatments and procedures
- Assist with rooming patients and assessing them for providers
Skills:
- 2+ years experience working as a Medical Assistant required; dermatology experience preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Must be computer/iPad savvy (EMR & scribe on iPad)
- Strong patient care skills
