Medical Assistant / Scribe (Full-Time)

As a Medical Assistant / Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians during patient visits—ensuring accurate documentation, efficient clinical flow, and an exceptional patient experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical scribe, accurately documenting patient encounters in real time, including history, exams, procedures, and treatment plans
• Support providers during patient visits to ensure efficient workflow and timely care
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready
• Escort and room patients; obtain and document vital signs and relevant clinical information
• Assist with clinical procedures within scope of practice
• Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain strict confidentiality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, addressing questions and concerns
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant and/or medical scribe
• Experience in a specialty or procedural practice is a plus
• Strong EMR proficiency and exceptional documentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, patient-focused demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Schedule & Location

• Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday - McLean clinic; Tuesday/Thursday - Fair Oaks clinic
