Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Purcellville, Virginia for a Medical Biller. The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing insurance claims, processing billing statements, handling denials, and ensuring compliance with ICD-10 guidelines. This role includes verifying patient information, following up on unpaid claims, and adhering to Medicare and insurance company policies to ensure accurate reimbursements. The role requires close attention to detail and collaboration with other team members to support the financial operations of the clinic.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards
• Experience handling Insurance claims, including Medicare processes and compliance
• Strong skills in resolving claim Denials and managing appeals effectively
• Attention to detail and ability to manage financial records accurately
• Proficiency in healthcare billing software and technology
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Previous experience in physical therapy billing or medical practice billing is a plus
• High school diploma or GED required; additional certifications in medical billing or coding preferred
