Medical billing and coding specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our practice, responsible for accurately translating healthcare services into universal medical codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and managing the entire claims lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of insurance guidelines, payer policies, and compliance regulations to ensure timely and maximum reimbursement. Your duties will include submitting clean claims to various insurance providers, diligently following up on unpaid or denied claims, and resolving any discrepancies to facilitate prompt payment. Proficiency with billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is essential, along with excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients regarding their accounts and billing inquiries. This role is critical to our financial operations, and we require a certified professional (e.g., CPC, CCS) who is detail-oriented and committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
