Position: Medical Coder
Location: Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-site.

About the Role

We are seeking a certified Medical Coder (CPC) to join our team and ensure accurate coding of medical diagnoses, procedures, and services. The ideal candidate will have strong coding expertise, a deep understanding of healthcare documentation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to medical records and documentation.
• Review medical documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and billing teams to clarify documentation and coding discrepancies.
• Ensure coding accuracy for reimbursement and compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations.
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and billing software to process coding tasks efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
• Support auditing and quality assurance processes as needed.

Requirements

• Certification: CPC (Certified Professional Coder) is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in medical coding within healthcare systems.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.
• Familiarity with billing software and electronic medical records systems.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to collaborate across departments.
