Medical Billing CSR

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Billing CSR to join our healthcare billing team. The candidate will be responsible for handling patient billing inquiries, insurance verification, and providing excellent customer support related to medical billing and claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to medical billing.
• Assist patients with billing questions and payment issues.
• Verify patient insurance information and eligibility.
• Follow up on insurance claims and payment status.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and denied claims.
• Maintain accurate patient billing records in the system.
• Coordinate with billing and coding departments.

Requirements

• Minimum Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in Medical Billing or Healthcare Call Center is a plus.
• Good English communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of insurance claims, CPT codes, and ICD codes (preferred).
• Good computer skills (MS Office, billing software).
• Ability to work in night shift (US healthcare process).
