Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team at Recovery Chiropractic. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accurate coding and timely collections for services rendered. Your contributions will be vital in supporting our mission to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Process medical billing and ensure accuracy in coding for all patient services.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Have knowledge of online portal and be comfortable speaking with claim handlers over the phone
• Maintain weekly reports on aging accounts
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain organized medical records and documentation for compliance purposes.
• Utilize medical billing software and systems effectively to streamline operations.
• Stay updated on changes in medical coding regulations and insurance policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in medical billing and collections, preferably in a chiropractic or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, DRG, and medical coding practices.
• Familiarity with medical office operations and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients and insurance companies.
