Medical Billing - Team Lead

We are looking for a highly experienced Team Lead (Medical Billing) to join our Rawalpindi office. This individual will oversee the complete RCM operations for an ophthalmology practice, manage performance, ensure compliance, and serve as the primary point of contact for the client. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in medical billing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage both people and processes with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end RCM operations for the ophthalmology practice
• Supervise and guide the billing team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Monitor claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and AR follow-ups
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for both internal leadership and the client
• Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements
• Serve as the main communication channel between MDS and the client
• Ensure all workflows follow HIPAA guidelines and internal SOPs
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to maintain high-quality work
• Coordinate with the US team when needed for escalations or clarifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing and RCM
• Prior experience with ophthalmology billing is strongly preferred
• Proven experience managing teams or leading operations
• Strong understanding of claims, AR, denials, and insurance requirements
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and evening shifts
• HIPAA compliance certification is preferred

Work Schedule

Timings: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM, Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
