Medical Claims Specialist

BioHorizon Medical is seeking a claims representative, with a proven track record in the claim administration related to home medical devices or similar. The position requires proficientcy full cycle claims billing and collections. The position is in our corporate office in Torrance California.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position. Candidates must demonstrate experience in DME/ HME, or equivalent, and possess proficiency in Medicare medical billing and collections. Candidates must demonstrate clear leadership ability with a proven track record in the prescription referral process, health insurances, accreditation, HIPPA and patient medical record documentation. Successful candidates should be comfortable and able to work from a corporate office and from home.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Claims administration.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills in a mobile, fast-paced environment.
• Highly Computer Literate: TIMS or applicable data management, Office 365, Microsoft CRM, Outlook, Excel.
