Position Summary
As a Medical Coordinator, you will serve as a key member of the medical team, responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad range of general medical conditions — both in outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (indoor) settings. You will also support emergency, follow-up, and telemedicine services, contributing to the hospital’s mission of delivering accessible, high-quality healthcare to the local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and emergency patient examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Manage outpatient and inpatient cases, ensuring timely and accurate clinical decision-making.
- Perform and assist in minor medical procedures when required.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, reports, and patient histories.
- Provide medical guidance, counseling, and education to patients and families.
- Ensure proper implementation of infection control, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with consultants, nurses, technicians, and administrative staff for coordinated patient care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions.
- Participate in clinical rounds, audits, and continuous professional development activities.
- Review and prescribe medications following established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation of hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality assurance standards.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid PMDC/PMC registration.
- Completion of mandatory house job/internship.
- Experience in general medicine, emergency care, or inpatient services is preferred.

Reporting & Working Conditions
- Reports to the Senior Physician / Hospital Superintendent or designated supervisor.
- Work schedule may include OPD shifts, indoor ward rounds, on-call or emergency duty.
- Workplace: A&M Memorial Hospital, located in Potha, Azad Kashmir — serving patients from local and nearby remote communities.
- Coordination with all hospital departments (laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, nursing, administrative support) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
