Medical Courier/Independent Contractor

We are looking for experienced independent contractors with excellent customer service and reliable vehicles to pickup, load, and deliver patient specimens around the Fort Bragg/Fayetteville area.

Route will be scheduled daily Monday - Friday, with federal holidays off.

(This is a perfect opportunity for someone retired, a veteran , in school or someone looking for part time work and extra income living in the Fayetteville area)

Route:

1st Run

2 pickups, 1 drop off

12 miles (From 1st Pickup location to Dropoff location)

1100-1230,

2nd Run(Same route as 1st run)

2 pickups, 1 drop off

12 miles (From 1st Pickup location to Dropoff location)

1500-1630

Routes will be need to be completed within the time window allotted.

Route compensation is $100-$200 a week

We encourage all our oncoming couriers to complete The Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Course. This certification is required to transport patient specimens. The type of Biological Material to be transported is those collected directly from humans or animals, including, but not limited to, excreta, blood and its components, tissue and tissue fluid swabs, and body parts being transported for purposes such as research, diagnosis, investigational activities, disease treatment and prevention.

Lab response spill kits will be provided.

Couriers will also be required to follow all safety mandates issued by Fort Bragg. (i.e. wearing of face mask in federal facilities)

All drivers need a reliable vehicle with 100/300/50 auto liability coverage. Smart phone is needed with GPS.

Must be at least 21 years of age with 3 years of driving experience.

Need a good MVR. Must pass a Criminal Check to get on base.

Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
