AMERX Health Care company is an Oldsmar based, family run medical device, drug, and cosmetic company who manufactures, markets, and distributes wound and skin care products. Our quality products are sold through private practices, retail, hospital, pharmacy, DME, and online retailers.

Job Summary:

Our Medical Device Inside Sales Account Manager sells our wound care products to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and practices. These valued sales staff members are primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with our clients and customers. This involves corresponding with customers via telephone, email, or other means to take orders, listen for unspoken medical product needs, provide information about new products and services, keep records and progress reports. This position collaborates extensively between our outside sales team and our order fulfillment departments.

Our ideal Medical Device Inside Sales Account Manager will possess a good understanding of sales and how to build relationships with medical businesses and practices. Successful Account Managers are able to determine the needs of our customers and clients and to provide them with the solutions our medical products provide. For the right incumbent, training from inside to outside is available.

Required Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assess client needs and promote suitable products
  • Speak with targeted doctors and health care providers and utilize sales skills to persuade them to purchase the company’s products
  • Give providers product information and perform product demonstrations
  • Develop over the phone relationships and network with doctors, surgeons, and hospital administrators

The Skills required to do this job:

  • Written and verbal communication skills, including relationship-building and influencing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, including spreadsheets and databases
  • Expertise in negotiation
  • Strong sense of organization and time management
  • 2-3 years sales experience with a proven successful track record
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels

Knowledge required to do this job:

1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: experience with Excel and Microsoft Word.

2. Understanding of information management.

3. Expert with all office machines, multi-line phones, fax, scanner, printer, copier, laminator.

Work Conditions:

· Work is performed in an office setting.

· Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.

· Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. (Demonstration Samples, Trade Show support items).

· May occasionally train with the sales manager in the field.

· May attend an occasional local trade show.
