Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:
The Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing routine laboratory tests, preparing and analyzing samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role supports doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff by providing accurate and timely test results that are essential for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) according to standard procedures.
• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Record, analyze, and interpret test results accurately.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate instruments, and ensure proper functioning.
• Follow laboratory safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and other laboratory materials as required.
• Maintain accurate records and update laboratory information systems.
• Assist in quality assurance, proficiency testing, and adherence to accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely laboratory results.
• Dispose of hazardous materials and biological waste safely and in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Valid professional license/certification - Ministry of Health ( UAE)
• Proven experience in a clinical or medical laboratory setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.

Work Conditions:

• May involve exposure to biological hazards, chemicals, and infectious materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
