Medical Office Assistant – Neurology Practice with Therapy Dogs

We’re a busy, independent neurology practice looking for a dependable and compassionate Medical Office Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, are comfortable with dogs, and thrive in a professional but friendly environment, we’d love to meet you.

About the Role

This position includes all aspects of a private medical practice, with a primary focus on escorting patients to exam rooms, assisting provider, team members , and maintaining patient flow.
You’ll also help with front-office duties such as scheduling, answering phones, and updating patient records in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Our office is home to two friendly Labrador retrievers who help calm and comfort patients — so being at ease around dogs is a must!

What We’re Looking For

• Strong computer and EMR skills (experience required; eClinicalWorks a plus)
• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflows
• Excellent organization, follow-up, and multitasking abilities
• Positive attitude and team-oriented energy
• Proven history of reliability, integrity, and professionalism
• A reasonable commute to our Venice location (traffic has been challenging lately!)
