Medical Officer (Male/Female) - Mother & Child Free Health Clinic

Islamic Aid Pakistan is humanitarian and development organisation dedicated to reducing poverty and alleviating human suffering through healthcare, education, and livelihood programmes.

Our Free Clinic in Mian Channu focuses on Mother and Child Health, offering free, compassionate healthcare to underserved families - especially mothers and young children who lack access to quality medical services.

We are seeking a Medical Officer (Male or Female) who is passionate about community service and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable families.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations for mothers, infants, and children.
• Perform basic obstetric and general ultrasound scans to support diagnosis and maternal care.
• Diagnose illnesses, prescribe appropriate treatments, and ensure patient follow-up.
• Provide antenatal, postnatal, and child health services, including immunisation and counselling.
• Educate patients on hygiene, nutrition, breastfeeding, and preventive health practices.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and OPD documentation.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Participate in health awareness and community outreach activities related to maternal and child health.

Qualifications and Skills

• MBBS degree from a recognised medical university.
• Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
• Excellent clinical and patient-care skills with a compassionate approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a small-scale clinic environment.
• Basic computer literacy for patient data entry and reporting.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
• Nature of Work: OPD only - no emergency or night duties.
• Monthly Salary: Rs. 70,000 (fixed)
