About the Role:

We are hiring Medical Officer to join our team, supporting psychiatry and behavioral health services within the U.S. healthcare system. This is a full-time, onsite position for candidates based in Karachi, Pakistan.


The position follows a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (6 PM – 6 AM PKT) , where the candidate will work 7 consecutive days (Monday–Sunday) followed by 7 consecutive days off.


The selected candidate will play a critical role in the clinical and administrative workflow, including patient intake, assisting providers during sessions, updating treatment plans, coordinating with insurance companies and pharmacies, and administering injections as required. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and an active professional license.

You must be highly organized, tech-savvy, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced and emotionally sensitive behavioral health environment.


Responsibilities

  • Start patient intake process and document pertinent information
  • Be present in the patient room during the interview
  • Review and make changes to the treatment plan based on discussion with the providers
  • Call insurance companies to verify insurance coverage and prior authorizations
  • Call pharmacy to verify medications
  • Prepare and inject patients with medications


Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Nursing License (Registered Nurse) or MBBS degree
  • Must have clinical experience in local or US healthcare setting
  • MUST be good with computers/technology (proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite)
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical assistant practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical departments
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and manage multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a highly stressful and emotional environment, particularly with behavioral health and/or suffering patients
