Medical Receptionist – Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Appointment Coordination
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed.
- Coordinate with medical staff to manage doctors’ and specialists’ calendars.
- Patient Registration
- Collect and update patient information, including demographics, medical history, and insurance details.
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
- Communication Handling
- Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and manage inquiries with professionalism.
- Relay accurate messages to medical staff and follow up with patients as required.
- Billing and Payments
- Process patient payments, generate invoices, and issue receipts.
- Assist patients with insurance claims and payment-related questions.
- Medical Record Management
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, both digital and hard copy.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Administrative Support
- Prepare and manage forms, reports, and correspondence.
- Assist with ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
- Facility Coordination
- Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Compliance and Policies
- Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Derma Services: 3 years (Preferred)
- Derma Reception: 3 years (Preferred)
