Medical Receptionist

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and compassionate Medical Receptionist with a healthcare background to serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and medical staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital or medical center setting, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage front-desk operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Register patients and verify personal, medical, and insurance information
• Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) accurately
• Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and referrals efficiently
• Coordinate with nurses, physicians, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow
• Process billing information, co-payments, and insurance documentation when required
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital privacy policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Qualifications & Requirements

• Gender (Arabic Female) Only
• Diploma or certification in Medical Administration, Healthcare, or a related field
• Previous experience as a receptionist in a hospital, clinic, or medical center
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with insurance verification and medical billing
• Multilingual abilities
• Strong customer service orientation with a patient-centered approach
