Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant

Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia, has an exciting employment opportunity for a Receptionist/Medical Assistant position at a thriving Endocrinology practice in Leesburg, VA. General responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients, collecting vitals, chief complaint, updating medication list
• Must be proficient at completing prior authorizations/willing to learn
• ability/willingness to support front desk staff as needed
• Front desk support includes points below
• careful documentation and collection of insurance information
• Answering the phones and messages through the office electronic medical record
• Collecting co-pays and other patient payments
• Scheduling appointments
• Collecting medical records, labs needed for upcoming appointments

Job Requirements:

• Must possess exceptional customer service skills
• Must be able to work independently and on a team
• Must have problem-solving skills
• EMR experience preferred (Pulse and/or ECW)
• Professional demeanor
• Bi-lingual preferred, but not required
