Medical Receptionist/Patient Access Representative – Dermatology & Mohs Surgery

Colorado Center for Dermatology & Skin Surgery is a doctor-owned, multi-location practice with clearly defined systems and high standards for patient service. We value professionalism, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and efficiency
  • Schedule appointments accurately within provider templates
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Collect co-pays and outstanding balances
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and practice systems
  • Communicate clearly with providers, medical assistants, and call center team
  • Support smooth clinic flow through attention to detail and accountability

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1+ year experience in administrative, receptionist, front desk, or customer service role (medical experience helpful but not required)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Comfortable following established systems and structured workflows
  • Takes ownership and meets expectations without constant oversight
  • Strong attendance record required
  • Values accountability and measurable performance standards

Compensation & Growth

  • Starting range: $20–23/hour (based on relevant experience)
  • Performance and compensation are formally reviewed annually, with additional growth opportunities based on demonstrated mastery and contribution.

Primary location: Longmont, CO. Occasional coverage/training at Littleton and/or Denver offices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
