Medical Records Officer

Job Role: Medical Records Executive

Experience: 1–5 Years

Location: Madurai (Uthangudi)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Medical Records Executive to manage, maintain, and safeguard patient medical records while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, organize, and update patient medical records accurately
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely completion of medical records
  • Handle patient data with strict confidentiality and compliance standards
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and departments for record completion
  • Retrieve medical records for audits, legal requirements, or internal use
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and physical files efficiently
  • Assist in coding, indexing, and filing of medical reports
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and statutory regulations

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Records, Health Information Management, or a related field
  • 1–5 years of experience in medical records management (hospital experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy
  • Good communication and coordination skills
