Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong transcription skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and experience working within medical office environments. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently, supporting physicians in delivering timely and comprehensive care.

Duties

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Support physicians by managing documentation workflows and reducing administrative burdens.
• Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems effectively to input data swiftly and accurately.
• Demonstrate knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance documentation quality.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless flow of information during patient visits.

Experience

• Prior experience working in a medical office or clinical setting is highly preferred.
• Strong transcription skills with the ability to accurately convert spoken language into written records.
• Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems used in healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to support precise documentation.
• Experience with medical records management and maintaining confidentiality standards.
• Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute for efficient note-taking.
