Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical documentation, terminology, and anatomy, with the ability to accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time. Duties

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to accurately capture complex medical information.
• Support the organization and management of medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Utilize typing skills efficiently to keep pace with fast-moving clinical environments, especially in emergency room settings.
• Collaborate with medical staff to clarify documentation details and improve record quality.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various EMR/EHR systems to facilitate seamless documentation workflows.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by providing reliable support during high-pressure situations such as emergency room shifts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in medical office settings or as a Medical Scribe, with familiarity using EMR/EHR systems.
• Strong transcription skills with the ability to accurately document complex medical information swiftly.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy essential for precise record-keeping.
• Prior experience working in emergency rooms or fast-paced clinical environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to keep pace with physicians during patient encounters.
• Background in medical documentation and familiarity with managing medical records confidentially.
