Medical Scribe

Busy Internal Medicine doctor is seeking a motivated, bilingual Vietnamese - English speaking Medical Scribe for a paid, gap-year position. This role is perfect for pre-med/pre-PA or NP students looking for clinical experience, patient interaction, and direct mentorship from a physician who loves to teach.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany the physician into patient exam rooms to document patient history, physical exams, and assessment/plans in real-time using our EMR system.
• Able to understand Vietnamese in order to translate office visit, documenting the office visit in English.
• Prepare documentation for provider review and signature.

Requirements:

• Bilingual: Fluency in English and Vietnamese required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree completed (or current gap year student) with plans for medical school/health professional school.
• Commitment: 1–2-year commitment preferred.
• Skills: Strong medical terminology knowledge, high attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Full training will be provided for this position.

Compensation: Paid hourly, competitive rate.
