Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, full-time dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring that medical records are complete and up-to-date. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in the medical field, particularly those looking to gain valuable experience in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical documentation during patient visits, including history, physical examinations, and treatment plans.
• Maintain organized and comprehensive medical records in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure all relevant patient information is captured effectively.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance documentation quality.
• Assist in the management of electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient care processes.
• Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
• Support the healthcare team by performing additional administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is essential.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is preferred to enhance understanding of clinical notes.
• Experience or coursework related to medical office operations is a plus.
• Proficiency in typing and using computer systems for data entry and record management.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
