Medical Scribe – Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Practice

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Scribe to assist our providers with real-time documentation during patient visits. The scribe will play a key role in enhancing workflow efficiency and ensuring accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in real-time within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Accurately record patient history, physical exams, procedures, and treatment plans
• Assist providers by tracking lab results, imaging, and referrals
• Prepare and finalize clinical notes for provider review
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Support clinic workflow and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in healthcare preferred
• Previous medical scribing or clinical experience is a plus
• Familiarity with medical terminology, especially ENT-related terms, preferred
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Experience with EMR systems
• Interest in healthcare or pursuing a medical career
• Ability to anticipate provider needs and work efficiently under pressure

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
