Duties

• Accurately transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits into electronic health record (EHR) systems in real-time.
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical exams, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
• Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with privacy regulations and organizational standards.
• Support the maintenance and organization of medical records for easy retrieval and review.
• Collaborate with physicians to clarify documentation details and ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
• Update patient information within EHR systems promptly following each encounter.
• Participate in training sessions to stay current with EHR system updates and best practices for documentation.

Skills

• Prior experience working in a medical office or clinical setting is highly preferred.
