Medical Scribe

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Medical Scribe to assist healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real time. The Medical Scribe will play a critical role in improving provider efficiency and ensuring high-quality patient records.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany providers during patient encounters
• Enter orders, lab requests, and referrals as directed by the provider
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical records
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
• Assist with chart review and completion

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in healthcare or science preferred
• Strong typing and computer skills (minimum ~50–60 WPM recommended)
• Excellent listening, writing, and communication skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology (preferred but not required; training may be provided)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Experience

• Previous scribing experience or clinical exposure
• Knowledge of EMR systems (eClinicalworks)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
